Fishing Fillet Knife 8" with the HEKE™edge

SKU: PF03 $79.95

Our titanium blades do not rust, corrode or lose their sharp cutting edges quickly. At Titan Knife Technologies, We want to make sure you are always sharp while cutting and slicing, so we created a fillet knife for just that purpose. During the early days of development, first users said; "The main problem was not creating the sharp edge; it was keeping the sharp edge and having to constantly deal with steel blades even stainless in the harsh saltwater environment. The knives would corrode quickly and easily meaning money was constantly being spent on purchasing new knives." Local fishermen with similar complaints, who were frustrated by the lack of performance of their fishing knives, approached George Lambert, a custom knifemaker in Stuart, Florida, with their problem - Does a knife exist that will retain a sharp blade and be immune to rust and corrosion in a saltwater environment?

"It's not just a fillet knife" Our knife is primarily made for fishing. We think it is the best fishing fillet knife you will ever need to buy. But, it's not just a fillet knife, many of our customers have used it in the kitchen as a kitchen knife. We also have many of our customers that use our fillet knives for hunting. They can de-bone and cut game meat such as deer and elk quickly and easily with our knife and rarely have to sharpen our edge. A common kitchen knife is an electric knife which many fisherman also use for fillet cutting. However, we feel an electric knife is less convienient than our premium knife blades. Our customers also like that our blade is made of Aerospace GradeTitanium and don't have the typical rust and corrosion problems as they do with many other knives including stainless steel blades
